Wine Stocks & Usual Suspects
Recent visitors to the cellar door will have noticed that we are running very low on some of our wines. We have now sold out of Silver Lining Sparkling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. While this is good for me (up to a point), I appreciate that it can be frustrating for you. Our stocks of Sauvignon Blanc, SSB, Cabernet Shiraz and Botrytis SBS are all fine. We have held back sufficient stocks of the sold-out wines so that the full range of wines can be tasted on weekends, and our Usual Suspects will not miss out on their regular orders in November.
We have just bottled the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (to be released January 2020), and will bottle the 2018 Silver Lining in October (for immediate release) and the 2018 Shiraz and the 2019 Chardonnay in January 2020 (for release in May 2020). Unfortunately, stocks of these wines will again be very limited – they are all less than 300 cases each - and may not get far past the Usual Suspects. I am trying to build stocks, but will probably not achieve good stock levels until 2021. I hope that you will bear with me over the next 18 months and that, if you are keen to keep drinking Stormflower, you consider becoming a Usual Suspect.
