Original tasting notes: A classic Wilyabrup Cabernet from another great season in Margaret River. A very wet winter followed by a mild spring and a warm dry ripening period provided perfect conditions for the vines and resulted in wines with strong varietal characters and plenty of flavour. This is a wine of delicate structure with bright juicy fruit, integrated dusty oak and subtle underlying earthy notes which add complexity. Highly scented aromas of blueberries and plums with subtle oak notes are reflected on the palate in the generous flavours and fine-grained tannins.
Museum tasting notes: Nose is showing good structural characters and plenty of fruit. Palate is juicy with notes of plum and well balanced with fine grained tannins. Beautiful wine with potential to age further.
